One clear answer.
For every flight.

Vector X reads the weather, the airspace, the NOTAMs and your aircraft together, then tells you whether it’s GO, GO IF or NO‑GO, and exactly why. Then a moving map that keeps you clear.

The difference

Most apps show you the data.
Vector X tells you what it means.

A moving map and a stack of weather charts leave the hard part to you, often when you’re busiest. Vector X does the joining-up, and shows its working.

The moving map

A chart made for flying VFR.
Clearer than anything you’ve used.

The towns, roads, rivers and railways you navigate by stand out. Airspace is drawn like a proper VFR chart, and only what matters at your height is bright. In Fly mode the threat ahead lights up, and the chart never leaves the screen.

UK airspace, made simple

Europe’s most complex airspace.
Two numbers in the air.

How high you can go, and who to talk to. When something’s ahead, one alert tells you what to do, early enough to do it. The chart never leaves the screen.

Vector X never just says no. It shows you why, where and when, so you build the judgement that stays with you long after you’ve landed.

Crossing borders

Customs paperwork,

Most pilots put off flying abroad because the forms feel complicated. Plan the trip once. Vector X works out which forms you need, fills in the official ones, and tells you exactly when each is due.

How we build it

Engineered to be trusted.

Software has to earn its place in the cockpit. These are the commitments behind every screen.

Official, current sources

Aeronautical data from the national AIPs for the AIRAC cycle in force. Weather from national met services and the major forecast models.

Every decision recorded

Each briefing is kept with the exact weather, NOTAMs and limits it used, so any decision can be reviewed later.

Private by design

Built to UK GDPR and the Jersey Data Protection Law. Data held in the UK and EU, personal documents encrypted, every access logged.

The pilot decides

Vector X informs and warns. It never says you’re cleared, and the pilot in command always makes the call.

For flight schools

Run your training on it.

Built inside a working training organisation, for instructors who would rather be flying than filling in forms.

  • Hours by category, ready to show the regulator

About

Made by pilots,
for pilots.

Vector X is built by Vector Aviation, a flight training business at Oxford (EGTK) and Jersey (EGJJ). We fly, we teach and we brief every day, so we built the tool we wanted in our own cockpits.

It’s in daily use at our own school, with real students and instructors, before it opens to anyone else.
